(I do use AI for code, as pretty much all software engineers are now doing. Most of the code for this website is AI-generated, and reviewed the same way I would review code from a colleague.)
This website may contain em dashes. The less-literate among us might consider them to be an “AI tell”, but the em dash has been in use by humans for over 400 years. It belongs to us. You can pry my em dashes from my cold, dead hands.
The written word is a vital part of what defines us as a species. Let’s not let big tech wrest that from us.
